The Neve™ BA183 audio card is basically the class A microphone preamp from the famous 1073 and 1066 preamp/EQ modules.  It is also the card found in 1272 modules. 

The BA 182 high pass filter card is a reproduction identical to the HPF filter on those modules. 

These preamps are built from ORIGINAL Neve 183 cards, not reproductions.  The capacitors have been replaced to bring them back to new specs, but otherwise they are as they left the Neve factory 30 years ago.

The switches used are sourced from the original manufacturer and are brand new.  The gain pot is a stepped attenuator.  The Sifam™ meters are new and feature the look of those found Neve™ consoles of the 80xx era. All parts used are the highest quality.

The Desert Island implementation of these vintage circuit boards includes an oversized linear power supply, switchable phantom power, a 10db pad, a DI input for instruments, and phase reverse switches.  The high pass filter has frequencies of 50, 80, 160, and 300hz.  The transformers are new reproduction units from Carnhill.

Once again, these cards are the vintage originals and we have found a limited supply of parts to build these - when they’re gone that’s it!
